Day 1 Arrive Kuching
Meet on arrival at Kuching International Airport and transfer to hotel for check in. Free at leisure. Explore the city at your own pace. Nestled on the banks of the Sarawak River, Kuching retains much of the old-world charm of its romantic past. Stroll along the European-style esplanade – The Kuching Waterfront – with views across to the majestic Astana (the palace) and Fort Margherita. Discover hidden treasures as you wander the narrow, bustling streets crammed with ornate temples, markets, historic buildings and traditional Chinese shophouses selling local handicrafts and local delicacies.
